Raw, natural honey is one of the gentlest, all-natural cleansers that are perfect for most people - especially those with dry, sensitive, and acne-prone skin. Our Honey & Hemp Face Wash combines the nourishing benefits of raw honey with oil cleansing, which helps to gently wash off debris and buildup without stripping natural oils. 

Buckwheat honey has been added to this new formulation for its medicinal benefits that are similar to (and sometimes better than) manuka honey. Buckwheat honey has been studied to be just as effective as manuka honey for inflammation support, antibacterial benefits, and cellular antioxidant activities... at a quarter of the cost and with less environmental impact due to being locally instead of internationally produced. 

We infused Willow Bark for the anti-inflammatory benefits that help soothe red, irritated skin. The addition of calendula and rose petals enhances the blend's gentle healing properties and helps clarify and support facial tissues, protecting the acid-base mantle and preventing water loss that leads to dryness and fine lines. The special combination of raw honey and hemp seed oil can help balance your sebum and make your skin feel smooth and supple throughout the day. This is a well-balanced cleanser that is gentle and generally safe for all skin types.

Honey is a natural antibacterial and Hemp Seed Oil is high in linoleic oil, making both a safe and excellent choice for those prone to breakouts. If you have oily skin, adding an oil cleansing method to your skincare routine can help balance sebum and decrease oil production. Mature and dry skin can benefit from the nourishing and hydrating properties of honey and hempseed, which can help diminish scarring and wrinkles. 

To use: Gently roll the bottle in your hands to evenly mix ingredients. Apply a quarter-sized amount to clean hands and gently massage onto the face. Leave on for 2-5 minutes as tolerated before rinsing off warm water. *Honey may solidify in colder temperatures and require gentle rewarming before using*

Please be mindful that there may be a 2-4 week detox period for your skin after starting natural skincare products. This is normal and should subside after a month of routine use. Since this cleanser contains natural beneficial oil, you may feel that your face is greasy afterward if you're unfamiliar with oil cleansing. This is normal and the organic hemp seed oil will absorb into the skin shortly after drying your face. You shouldn't experience excessive greasiness afterward but you may experience an increase of breakouts initially after first using. This is also normal and your face may need a couple of weeks of balancing out before acclimating to the natural cleanser.
